The Sword announced to the world in October 2017 that it was holed up in Flora Recording And Playback with Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse) recording a new album called Used Future. The Sword said the new album would be out sometime early 2018, and it certainly seems like they're keeping their promise.
The Sword recently took to Instagram to announce that they're listening to test pressings of Used Future, meaning it's recorded, mixed, mastered, and ready for public consumption. So expect an announcement relatively soon!
