The Night Flight Orchestra is a very non-death metal group featuring very metal musicians such as Arch Enemy bassist Sharlee D'Angelo on guitar, axeman Sebastian Forslund, Soilwork's Björn Strid on vocals, Mean Streak's drummer Jonas Källsbäck and guitarist David Andersson, alongside keyboardist Richard Larsson. It also seems slightly astonishing that the band just wrapped up their fourth record, considering I remember covering these dudes when they first appeared.
The new album was recorded at Handsome Hard Music & Larsson Music Studio, as well as Nordic Sound Lab in Skara, Sweden, and the album was mixed by Forslund himself. The album was also mastered by Thomas "Plec" Johansson, whose work you might know from The Absence and Solution .45. So what can you expect this time around? Well, sexy, sexy retro jams, of course!
"This time, the female space commanders want even more revenge than they already had, space is even more infinite, and the amount of champagne it takes to keep this navy afloat and adrift in the cosmos is probably illegal on most planets!

Considering all the work on the album is completely finished, I'd imagine we'll be getting a title and official release date pretty soon.
