Apparently, there has been some sort of backlash when The Acacia Strain announced earlier this year that they have signed with Rise Records, with "fans" assuming the band will start sounding more scene. Um, srsly? Have you met The Acacia Strain? They are all business, all the time! All fears were squashed when the band released the single "Servant In The Place of Truth" a few weeks later, and the band proved as heavy as ever.
Today, the band announced the title of their forthcoming Rise Records debut and it's Death Is The Only Mortal and it will be released on October 9th. The effort will be produced by Acacia guitarist Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz at his studio, which should ensure maximum heavyness.
