It's been about a year since we've heard anything about the long-anticipated new project from Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam D., Cannibal Corpse vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher and ex-The Black Dahlia Murder drummer Shannon Lucas. The last we heard, when we interviewed Adam D. last May was that vocals were about to be tracked.

It's safe to say the vocals are tracked and chances are the whole thing are completed. We haven't heard anything about the project until earlier today, when I was browsing Corpsegrinder's Instagram page (imagine saying that sentence 10 years ago?!) and he offered an unsolicited update:

When we last spoke to Adam about the potential release date of the album, he said "there is a lot of red tape" to go through to get it out. At the time, Cannibal was about to release their record, so it didn't seem like a good time. With Killswitch in the studio now, it looks like they are putting their album out late summer, so perhaps there is a chance the album will be released before then?
