Moments after posting the new Slipknot song, "The Devil In I," details started surfacing about the new album. So far, the band have been incredibly secretive with info. A few weeks ago, they released their first "unofficial" single, "The Negative One" and that was it. No mask info, no album info, no drummer info… nothing!
Slowly, the pieces are being revealed.
We now know that the new album will be called .5: The Gray Chapter, perhaps implying this album is a prequel to all the other Slipknot albums, or maybe even a prequel to the next chapter of Slipknot's history. The album will be released on October 21st through Roadrunner Records.
Pre-orders are now available on Amazon.com, iTunes and through the official Slipknot store, which has a mass amount of bundles available.
As for the tracklisting:

As I assumed, The Negative One is indeed a deep cut, while The Devil In I appears much earlier on the record. It'll be exciting to get more info out of these guys. Hopefully, we'll get to see their new masks between now and Knotfest.
