As much as I lead a digital life when it comes to consuming music, I'm a sucker for great album artwork. I've spent many a nights going through my music library ensuring that every album has the proper hi-resolution artwork attributed to it.
So, when I got the press release for Rotten Sound's new EP, I was excited on two accounts. One, there is new Rotten Sound to grind our ears soon, and two… the killer artwork!
The Finnish grinders will be releasing Species At War on January 22nd via Relapse. The band recorded the album themselves at Nordic Audio Labs earlier this summer and drummer Sami Latva at Latva Studios pulled triple-duty by also handling mixing and mastering.
I would assume we will hear new Rotten Sound music before year's end.
