Pitchshifter is set to release the original 1997 version of their track "Genius" as part of a 12" release. The release is named [NOS] Genius and features remixes from Enter Shikari, Wargasm, and way more. The 12" is only available at Pitchshifter's shows with Blackgold this November, but a 2025 digital release is also in the works.
"Genius" was originally released on the Test Drive 5 and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation soundtracks, and was later a part of the 1998 album www.pitchshifter.com. The original 1997 version features a pre-chorus that didn't make it to the final version.
