When Motley Crue members Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx were spotted in the studio with legendary producer Bob Rock, we assumed the band was dipping their toes out of retirement, likely to coincide with the long-awaited release of their rock biopic movie, The Dirt – coming sometime this year to Netflix.
Then, Vince Neil went ahead and blabbed that they are indeed releasing four new tracks to coincide with the movie. Thanks for making our job easier, Vince! Here's what he wrote:
Exciting news! I’ll be going back in recording studio in a few weeks with the boys to record 4 brand new Motley Crue tracks! Rock On!!

I guess Nikki Sixx was so excited about what they are working on that he too ran to Twitter to let everybody know what's up. Most interesting is the last tease, about a surprise:
Fück can I just say it? I’m listening to the roughs of the new @MotleyCrue and it feels real and raw.Everybody is playing like mad and the songs crush. Bob Rock brought the sounds. Plus we have a surprise that will confirm that we’re outta our minds.

What could the surprise possibly be? Could they have gotten Vince Neil-replacement John Corabi back for a song? Probably not.
But, I guess the movie will be out soon and we'll know soon enough.
