Earlier this year, I wrote that new material from The Red Chord was coming this year, but when I talked to Gunface at Summer Slaughter after writing that he clarified to me that he said "within a year" not "this year." Well, looks like we were both right after all. Earlier today, he tweeted that the band have confirmed a split 7". He didn't say with whom, or give any further details, but at least we now know we'll be getting a new track from the band this year, and that makes me happy!
In other news, his 8-bit project, Unraveller should be putting out their full-length soon. Come on, Mike! Let us hear it already.
