Ghost will kick off their Ultimate Tour Named Death on September 13, which is a Friday. Ghost also has a habit of putting out some sort of EP release between each one of their albums. We have no yet gotten an EP between Prequelle and whatever the band is planning for 2021. You see where this is going.
According to an FYE listing, Ghost is planning two new songs via a 7" titled Kiss The Go-Goat / Mary On A Cross on September 13, as well as a deluxe version of Prequelle the same day. Both these listings were caught by The PRP and have not yet been confirmed by Ghost themselves. A quick Google search doesn't show any songs by either one of those names, leading me to believe they're both new tracks.
It's also very much worth mentioning that frontman Tobias Forge said in November 2018 "My intention is not to release just another EP of covers. There might be something else coming out next year, maybe, that might have been recorded already, that won't be covers."
