The day has finally come. Limp Bizkit, after years upon years of promising they were going to release an album called Stampede Of The Disco Elephants as the follow-up to 2011's Gold Cobra, is finally doing exactly that. Sure, maybe the record has a new title, but the bottom line is that whatever it's called, it's finally happening.
According to the Instagram of guitarist Wes Borland, Limp Bizkit is hitting the studio this week to record. Borland said the band was supposed to hit the studio last week, but the fires in California really screwed things up. This new record has also been the subject of some pretty interesting stories over the years, a few being that Bring Me The Horizon was hired to write some of it and that it leaked online years ago (even though Borland said it wasn't finished).
Album of the year 2019? You betcha, and I'm gonna act like it is just to piss off everyone who only reads headlines.
