Say what you will about the music of Limp Bizkit and Blink-182, but there's absolutely no denying the talent of the former's guitarist Wes Borland and the latter's drummer Travis Barker.
The seemingly unlikely duo has been writing new material for a currently unspecified project according to the Instagram of Borland, and is currently in the studio. Borland's Instagram says the duo wrote seven songs in 12 hours, and "that's a new record." They have been teasing working together since 2013.
At the time, former Nine Inch Nails guitarist, bassist and keyboardist Danny Lohner and hip-hop artist Scroobius Pip were linked to the project.
As for the new Limp Bizkit album, we're still not sure where that is. Though the last time Borland checked in, he didn't seem entirely optimistic that the world even wanted a new Limp Bizkit album anyway.
