Earlier this week, Mark Morton revealed in an interview that the new Lamb of God album is done and there would be "new music coming soon." He wasn't kidding, as we may hear it this Thursday, February 6th.
Lamb of God emailing their mailing list today and the message included handwritten lyrics to a new song, "Checkmate," which has yet to be released.
The image leads to their website, which has been redone and has a teaser image with a broken clock and the date "Feb 6" scrawled on the clock. That would be this Thursday, at allegedly midnight, maybe?
Also, the band shared this politically tinged video on social media, with the caption "Repeat. Echo. Refrain." Perhaps that's a hint at an album title?
All will be revealed this Thursday!
