Kiss has been reissuing old shows as a part of their Off The Soundboard series, and they're touching on a very special one next. Kiss will release Off The Soundboard: Poughkeepsie, New York, 1984 on April 7, which is the only known soundboard recording with Mark St. John on guitar.
Mark St. John appeared on Kiss' 1984 album Animalize and only played two full shows (and one partial show) with the band due to reactive arthritis. Bruce Kulick filled in for St. John live and later replaced him as a permanent member of the band. Mark St. John passed away in 2007.
Pre-orders for Off The Soundboard: Poughkeepsie, New York, 1984 are available here. In the meantime, you can check out some of St. John's brief live appearances with Kiss below.
