THE ZENITH PASSAGE Wraps Up First Album Since 2016

Featuring a lot of former Faceless members.

The Zenith Passage

The Zenith Passage has just wrapped up (and handed in) their first new record since Solipsist in 2016.

The new record will be their first on Metal Blade Records and – according to the below photo – will feature guitarists Justin McKinney (ex-The Faceless) and Christopher Beattie (Dreamer), bassist Brandon Giffin (Cynic [live], ex-The Faceless), vocalist Derek Rydquist (ex-The Faceless). No word on who's drumming on the record yet, though Matthew Paulazzo (Aegaeon, Alluvial) doesn't seem to be tagged. So we'll see what happens.

"LP 2 is finished and turned in with Metal Blade Records," said the band. "So stoked on how this turned out. [Producer Dave Otero] brought the band to a whole new level. Our best work yet. See you soon."

As The Zenith Passage mentioned, the new material is produced by Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Khemmis, Archspire, etc.). On their signing and new material, the band offered the following late last year.

"We are extremely excited to announce that we have signed with Metal Blade Records. It is an incredible opportunity and big dream of each member of The Zenith Passage to join this eclectic and visionary roster full of friends, heroes, and legends.

"We've pushed our limits in all directions on this latest album and the album following, they have been some of the most emotionally and physically challenging works of music in our careers that we're very proud of and can't wait for it to be a part of Metal Blade's innovative legacy and to share it with all of you!"
