overkill-2018

Thrash legends Overkill will begin recording the follow-up to their 2019 album The Wings of War next week, according to drummer Jason Bittner.

"COVID won’t stop the new OVERKILL record from being made…..tracking starts a week from this Monday……holy shit that’s soon…..I’d like to send a HUGE shoutout to a few of my endorsers that know a time crunch and are still here for me during these rough times!!!" said Bittner said via his Facebook page.

In the meantime, go enjoy vocalist and guitarist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth's new covers band BPMD. BPMD features Blitz, drummer Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Sons of Apollo, ex-Dream Theater), bassist Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance), and guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head), and just released their debut album American Made on June 12.
