Madball recently wrapped up the sessions for their new album For The Cause with Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong. The album will be their first in four years, and will be mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, The Haunted, etc.).
Now the band has also revealed that they've got legendary rapper and Body Count frontman Ice-T to guest on the title track, who says "It's an honor to record with the legendary Madball. Body Count draws its closest similarities to New York hardcore. This is a natural."

So hey, if there's any reason to look forward to a Madball album right now, it's that Ice-T is going to make at least one song ridiculously heavy. This will also be the band's first album since 2005's Legacy not to feature guitarist Brian "Mitts" Daniels, who the band split with in 2017.
