CROSSES (DEFTONES, Etc.) Appears To Have Returned From A Two-Year Silence

Weird timing considering Deftones' new album is out in 2019, but alright.

Crosses, the band featuring Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno, ex-Far guitarist Shaun Lopez and Chuck Doom, entered the world in 2012 and subsequently released a trio of EPs.

The band released all three as a full-length compilation-type studio album in 2014 and then entered the studio in 2015 for a followup. Crosses teased their studio presence right up until March 2016 when their social media fell silent and the band never resurfaced.

While it's not a ton to go off of right now, Crosses as reactivated their Facebook page header image with what could very well be cover art of some type.

It matches the artistic style of their 2014 release and it's square, so hey – let's speculate and hope that Crosses is really coming back with new material. Though this would be slightly weird timing considering Deftones is also gearing up for a brand new record in 2019.

We'll keep you posted.
