Coming off the heels of what may very well be the band's best two albums to date, the new Cradle Of Filth album is pretty highly anticipated. Now we've received word that the album will be called Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay and will be released on September 22 via Nuclear Blast.
"The album is deeply infused with Victorian gothic horror and thus the title is a reflection of that. 'Cryptoriana' implies the Victorian's infatuation with the supernatural, the grave and the ghoulish. And the subtitle 'The Seductiveness Of Decay' further cements this attraction to death and the glittering lengthy process of self-annihilation."
You can check out the killer, very Cradle Of Filth artwork done by artist Artūrs Bērziņš below (warning – contains boobs). The first single from the album is expected to drop July 5, and Cradle Of Filth has also announced a mini-UK tour to go along with the album.
