We've intermittently covered the upcoming Coal Chamber record as news gets posted. Surprisingly there hasn't been much to be said about the record, though vocalist for the group Dez Fafara (DevilDriver) did reveal back in August the record would be produced by Mark Lewis and that the group had written about 25 songs thus far.
Now the band has taken to Facebook on two separate occasions recently to make not that they are in fact in pre-production mode! Fafarfa has said in previous interviews the band hopes to hit the studio sometime in October, get the vocals all done up in November and get the record out early 2015. It appears thus far as though they're keeping to that schedule, so maybe sometime in December we'll be able to post a new song? That's pure speculation on my part though. Are you ready for new Coal Chamber?
