Children Of Bodom hit the studio all the way back in April and recently broke the news that the record would not be out in 2018. Now bassist Henkka Seppälä has told TNT Radio Rock that the brand new record will likely be out in March 2019.
Seppälä adds says it's at least a little comparable to their 2000 record Follow The Reaper.
"This is always difficult for me. It's really, really hard for me to say. It's very Children of Bodom, but there's always something new. I think maybe the one feature that I haven't heard in a while is more technical riffing, guitar riffing, where Alexi is pushing his abilities to their limits. So, I think that kind of stuff. And once Alexi compared this a little bit to the feeling 'Follow The Reaper' had. I'm not sure. But in those basic riffs, there's something to that."
Technical riffing? Kinda comparable to Follow The Reaper? Well sign me and quite a few other people right the hell up.
