BIOHAZARD's Classic Lineup Is Working On A New Album

“We're getting that hunger and the ideas are starting to come out”

Biohazard 2022

Biohazard recently united with original vocalist and bassist Evan Seinfeld, bringing them back to their classic-era lineup of Seinfeld, vocalist and guitarist Billy Graziadei, guitarist Bobby Hambel, and drummer Danny Schuler. We also recently learned the band were planning on writing and recording new material for what would be their first new album since 2012, plotting a documentary, merch, and a tour.

Now, in a new interview with Le Coin Metal held during the Lokerse Feesten 2023 festival in Belgium, Hambel has confirmed the quartet is indeed at work on new music: "The inspiration's coming from these shows. Being back together, celebrating, and doing all these shows, it's great. We're having a good time, but now we're getting the vibe from the crowd and we're feeling it, and it's getting in our bones. We're getting that hunger and the ideas are starting to come out off of these shows."

Billy also chimed in: "For me, it's kind of cool because the other reason I did BillyBio – he’s referring to his solo project – is because there was no Biohazard, and the songs that I would've been showing these guys just became BillyBio songs. So being back with these guys is, like… It's cool to have another outlet for my music. New record, soon… Biohazard

The band will be supporting Megadeth on five shows in the U.S. and Canada in September, and you can get your tickets here for those dates.
