It'll have been four years since Baptists released Bloodmines come 2018, but you won't have to wait any longer than that. The band spent a portion of 2017 tracking 13 songs for a new album with Converge's Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts and has now revealed the name of the album to be Beacon Of Faith.
The band has taken to Facebook to announce the album will be out sometime in 2018 via Southern Lord Records, and that they've given up being a hardcore band in favor of the Christian Gangsta Rap genre.
So I guess Beacon Of Faith will have clean vocals then, right?
