We've been fans of guitar goddess Mrs. Smith for ages now. Her guitar skills, and wah prowess is virtually unmatched. Now, she will put her money where her mouth is in a wah-off with legendary Metallicai guitarist and wah pedal user/abuser Kirk Hammett. It all started when Mrs. Smith laid out the gauntlet for Kirk last year.
“I’m the number-one wah-wah abuser. I abuse the wah more than Kirk Hammett and I’ve challenged him multiple times to a wah-off. Why are you hiding behind your wah-wah pedal, Kirk Hammett?”
The video eventually got back to Kirk Hammett, who decided to accept the challenge.
Now there is a date. Sunday, March 8th! Before Kirk and his friends in the Wedding Band get up and do some covers, Kirk will invite Mrs. Smith up on stage for a wah off to end all wah-offs. Who is the biggest abuser of the wah pedal? We'll find out on March 8th.
