Scion Rock Fest 2011 Confirmed For Pamona, CA – First Rumored Bands Surface

The original Scion Rock Fest was an absolutely killer event that I will never forget and it looks like this year's third iteration of the show is giving it a run for it's money. LA Weekly reports the show will go down March 5, 2011 in Pomona, CA which is right outside Los Angeles, at the Fox Theater and the Glass House. Already confirmed as headliners are Morbid Angel, playing their first US show in 6 years. Meanwhile, ThePRP has heard of more names confirmed for the bill who are:

Holy shit! A lot of these bands are bands that tour the US all the time but holy crap some of these bands are very jizzworthy. For one, Agalloch. This band never tours. Then, Kveltertak – a band we've all been fapping about recently that never plays the US. And of course there is MI favorites Wormrot who I will pay to see anywhere anytime.

The best thing about the Scion Rock Fest is it's absolutely FREE. If you live in the LA area and you do not attend this show, there are no words to explain what you would be missing out on. We will continue to report on the event as soon as more details come in.
