This is a ridiculous package. A few weeks ago, the Deftones announced another run across North America, but did not announce any openers. Today, it's been confirmed that the mighty djentlemen in Periphery will be filling that slot. While it may seem odd at first, the combo totally fits in this humble blogger's opinion. I'm curious to see the reaction Periphery will get from the Deftones faithful. One thing is for sure, they will be playing to hundreds (if not thousands) of new sets of ears every night, exposing their brand of metal, and for that we congratulate them. Here is the routing:
