Opeth just announced they will be playing two shows in the United States later this year in celebration of their 25th anniversary. The shows by billed as an evening with Opeth, featuring no opening act and will see the band performing their 2005 classic, Ghost Reveries in full, followed by a second set featuring music from their entire catalog.
The two shows are:
October 22nd @ Beacon Theater, NYC
October 24th @ Orpheum Theater, LA
Tickets go on sale this Friday, with online pre-sales on Thursday and VIP/Fan Club Presale beginning Wednesday, April 29th at 10:00AM local time. There will also be limited meet and greet VIP packages available.
