The metal world was shocked when Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine revealed he was diagnosed with cancer last year. The band ended up canceling the remainder of their performances while Dave gets treatment, and also simultaneously put the finishing touches on their next album.
Mustaine concluded his treatment late last year and told Rolling Stone that now that he "feels really strong." Now he's ready to get back into action.
The band's first booked dates since this cancer diagnosis was a huge European tour opening for Five Finger Death Punch. The band sent a message to their social media outlets that they are indeed back!
