Kittie guitarist and vocalist Morgan Lander recently hinted the band might have a few more reunion shows coming up outside the When We Were Young festival taking place this October. Now the band has announced a second show at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival taking place between September 8 and 11 at the Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA.
"We've got the festival — lots to look forward to with that," said Lander in a previous interview. "There may be some other things maybe coming down the pike — one or two things — but you have to watch [our social media]. We might have one or two cool things coming down the pike, but for now those are the only dates that we have. And we're super looking forward to them. And I think this is just the beginning of… You'll be seeing us around a little more."
Kittie's lineup is Morgan Lander, co-founding drummer and vocalist Mercedes Lander, lead guitarist Tara McLeod who joined in 2005, and bassist Ivana "Ivy" Vujic who was originally in the band between 2007 and 2012. On Vujic rejoining the band for the show(s), Lander said Vujic is "an incredible bass player. I don't think that Ivy gets enough credit. She is absolutely incredible. So it's gonna be great."
