Kittie is one of the infinite amount of bands booked for the When We Were Young festival taking place this October. The show is the band's first since their 20th anniversary reunion show in 2017, and 2013 before that. Now in an interview with the Talk Toomey podcast, guitarist and vocalist Morgan Lander said Kittie has a few more things coming down the pipeline and that fans will be "seeing us around a little more" in the future.
"We've got the festival — lots to look forward to with that. There may be some other things maybe coming down the pike — one or two things — but you have to watch [our social media]. We might have one or two cool things coming down the pike, but for now those are the only dates that we have. And we're super looking forward to them. And I think this is just the beginning of… You'll be seeing us around a little more."
Kittie's lineup for When We Were Young is Morgan Lander, co-founding drummer and vocalist Mercedes Lander, lead guitarist Tara McLeod who joined in 2005, and bassist Ivana "Ivy" Vujic who was originally in the band between 2007 and 2012. On Vujic rejoining the band for the show(s), Lander said Vujic is "an incredible bass player. I don't think that Ivy gets enough credit. She is absolutely incredible. So it's gonna be great."
