The Levitation festival just announced its first wave of bands for the 2019 iteration, and what a list it is. Rock and metal acts playing the festival this year will include High On Fire, Deafheaven, Power Trip, Russian Circles, Brutus, Emma Ruth Rundle, Red Fang, Torche, Monolord and Here Lies Man among a ton of other great artists. Levitation will be held in downtown Austin, TX between November 7 and 10. More artists will be announced.
Tickets are available now. A portion of the proceeds from Levitation will go to the SIMS Foundation. According to their site, "SIMS Foundation provides mental health and substance use recovery services for musicians, music industry professionals, and their families to support the well-being of the Austin music community."
