Botch is slowly but surely coming back. The band originally signed to Sargent House and said the deal was only for reissues, not a reunion. Then the reissue for We Are The Romans got announced alongside the first Botch song in 20 years called "One Twenty Two," though the band made it clear the song was just a one-off. Then all of a sudden over the weekend, Botch took the stage as a surprise at producer Matt Bayles' birthday party.
Now the reunion is rolling into 2023, as Botch has just announced two shows for February 24 and 25 at the Showbox in Seattle, WA where they played their last show in June 2002. I think the real takeaway here is this – whatever you think Botch is gonna do next, they might very well do the opposite. And that's pretty exciting!
