The British blackened industrial deathgrind duo have certainly grown more open to the idea of touring in recent years.
Anaal Nathrakh have just announced a series of tour dates more than half a year in advance. The British pair started growing in prominence ever since the release of their 2004 album, Domine Non Es Dignus (released via Season Of Mist), which saw them leaving their raw black metal sound from earlier for the current amalgamation of black, death, industrial metal and grindcore that they play.
They were previously an exclusively studio-only project, and only decided to start performing the occasional live show after a successful BBC Radio 1 live session with the late DJ, John Peel. Starting from only 2 shows in 2005, the pair have embarked on tours every year starting from 2007, supporting big names such as Testament and Marduk. In fact, the first big name they will be supporting this year is Exhumed, and it is going to be the American deathgrind band's debut live performance on Anaal Nathrakh's soil.
Stay tuned to their Facebook page for more tour dates.
