Machine Head are counting their lucky stars because their recent accident could've been much worse. The band just kicked off their massive North American tour, and a few days in, they've already had a near death experience.
The band notes that everybody is safe. According to a tweet, the band was in the bus sleeping when a truck ahead of them missed a turn and was "over-correcting into oncoming traffic."
The band notes "our bus/trailer skidded in, smashed our mirror off, shattered Byron's window, and scared the hell out of everyone sleeping, but no one was hurt."
The band have released dash cam footage from their bus of the incident. It's very frightening:
SCARY BUS ACCIDENT
Everyone safe.
Narrowly missing a truck that had missed a turn off and was over-correcting into oncoming traffic.
