Korn have had a string of bad luck on their first tour back since the pandemic. The latest is that their drummer has to sit out the remaining dates due to contracting COVID-19.
The bad news began before the tour even started when bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu announced he would be sitting out the tour, and would be replaced by Suicidal Tendencies bassist Ra Diaz. Early in the tour, Jonathan Davis battled COVID, and dates had to be rescheduled. A few weeks ago, guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer had to sit out a few dates as well due to contracting COVID-19.
Luzier completes the hat-trick of Korn members who contracted COVID. Luzier will be sitting out the remainder of the band's touring commitments and be replaced by Aric Improta of Fever 333/Night Verses.
Here is the statement from the band:
“Unfortunately, Ray has tested positive for COVID, and he will not be playing the next three shows in Vegas, Fresno, and Oakland. Korn will be continuing on as scheduled despite these circumstances.
We are anticipating a quick recovery for Ray and he should be back to play the Los Angeles shows with us.”
Korn's remaining live shows are with System of a Down and Russian Circles:

10/16 Fresno, CA – Save Mart Center
10/18 Oakland, CA – Oakland Arena
