Radio rock festivals are a place to get to party and I guess, sometimes a place to conceive a child?! My local K-Rock fest was one of my first concerts as a teenager, and they are memories I will cherish forever. But turns out, one radio fest had a lasting effect on 19-year-old Jette Collins.
Jett took to social media this week with a message hoping to find his biological father. His biological dad, a man only identified as Jason, boned his mom at the K-Rockathon 1996, the inaugural radio rock fest in Syracuse, NY. Here's what the kid posted:
I don't know if this actually works but I'm going to try it, just hoping for the best and a little luck. Help a kid out

In case you're wondering, the inaugural K-Rockathon took place on July 28, 1996 in Verona, NY with performances by Butthole Surfers, Poe, Reverend Horton Heat, Seven Mary Three, The Refreshments, Toadies and The Verve Pipe. Not a bad bill by any means.
"I don't know if this actually works but I'm going to try it, just hoping for the best and a little luck. Help a kid out," Jette wrote on Facebook. Hopefully, this post helps.
