The Gathering of the Juggalos is entering its 15th (!) year as a festival and as always have creating a fantastic infomercial. This year's commercial focuses on the supernatural as a juggalo dies and initially is sent to Heaven, where St. Peter thinks oh there is no way this guy belongs here and sends him to hell until the devil says that there are no juggalos in hell, they have their own special part in heaven called Shangri-La. If you don't remember, ICP consider themselves evangelical Christians.
The whole commercial is ridiculous:

But, the most shocking part of the lineup is that besides the usual limited metal bands announced like Biohazard, hed PE and Wayne Static, one is an actual active, respectable act… Cannibal Corpse.
Previously, Fear Factory have played the Gathering (here's the crowd they drew) and Max Cavalera said it was an honor to play the Gathering with his band Soulfly but this might be the most high-profile get for the festival yet.
And all kidding aside, it makes perfect sense for Cannibal. I'm sure they were guaranteed an exorbitant amount of money and are playing to a slew of potential new fans. I have a feeling that songs with titles like "F*cked with a Knife," "I Cum Blood" and "Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's C*nt" would go over really well with ICP's fan base. So kudos to them for the booking!
