NFTs (non-fungible tokens) began making headlines in the past year thanks to a variety of different reasons. Some headlines dealt with folks making a windfall of money off them, while others were getting the rug pulled out from under their feet. NFT collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club were almost inescapable at one point, while some headlines mocked NFTs for being nothing more than a cash grab. Needless to say, NFTs have been very popular but equally polarizing.
