Corey Taylor scared Slipknot fans on Friday when he announced that he would be undergoing immediate double knee surgery. No details were provided at the time other than that. Taylor seemed in good spirits but this put a question to Slipknot's immediate plans, namely their big performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this Friday.
Well, worry no more. Taylor offered a new update, post surgery and vowed to make all of his commitments. Because he is a beast.
Speaking from a car, Taylor chimed in with a video update on his Instagram page saying:
Hey everybody, just got out of surgery. Doctors said everything was great. Just cleaned up a bunch of stuff in there and I will be back on stage in no time. I'll see everyone at Kimmel, see everyone on the 19th at Garden Grove. Can't wait. Thank you to everybody for the well wishes and everything and we'll see you soon.
It's unclear if Taylor is in any sort of cast or anything, but it should be noted he was sitting upright in the video, and if he were in any sort of cast, he would likely have to have his legs elevated. But I am no doctor, I am just glad that Corey is okay!
