Rumors starting swirling back in November that Guns N Roses were about to announce an official reunion. This, a few months after Slash revealed he and frontman Axl Rose were on speaking terms, friends even, for the first time in over 15 years.
Today, we reveal the smoking gun. The band's official website, GunsNRoses.com was updated with the above graphic of the band's legendary logo from the era that Slash wasn't in the band. In case you weren't paying attention, these are the new logos GNR have been using this century:
You can even see that the website looked much different earlier this month.
What does this mean? It means GNR is teasing us that an announcement is approaching. The rumor mill has been abuzz that the band will make their official return at Coachella next year, but nothing official has yet to be announced. There have been additional rumors that the only original members to be included in the reunion will be Axl, Slash and Duff McKagan, but again, just a rumor for now.
We'll keep you posted.
