Hi, what are you looking for?

Fuck Yes!

CONVERGE Drummer Ben Koller Has Officially Joined KILLER BE KILLED

Killer Be Killed put out one of the most anticipated releases of 2014 with their self-titled debut. Of course, it didn't hurt that the band consisted of Soulfly's Max Cavalera, Mastodon's Troy Sanders, The Dillinger Escape Plan's Greg Puciato and (at the time) ex-The Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch.

Unfortunately, since the recording of the album, Elitch got tied up in a bunch of other projects and was no longer able to commit to the band. With Killer Be Killed lining up their first shows in Australia last year, they reached out to Converge drummer Ben Koller to fill the void.

Looks like Ben did such a good job, they got him to come aboard full time. Max Cavalera told Wallofsound.org that Koller is the official drummer of the group:

“Not writing yet. I don’t write on the road, too chaotic. I’ve got some ideas though. Now I know Greg and Troy and we have Ben Koller playing drums. We’re going to make a kick ass second record.”

Bonus: a second album is in the works! Cavalera made it perfectly clear that Koller is definitely in the group during a follow up question:

“Pretty much. We introduced Ben at Soundwave Festival and asked him to be part of the group. He’ such a great drummer and musician.”

This is nothing but great news. We're excited to hear what these guys have in store for us.
