Earlier this year we reported that Cadaver, the Norwegian death metal act that began in 1988, had resurfaced once again with an all new vigor. This weekend, the band kicked it up another notch as they performed their first show back since 2004!
Featuring current members Anders Odden (Orders, Satyricon) and Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth), they embarked on Hellbotn Metalfest with a set list of songs that range across a 30 year span, which you can see below. With the band back in full effect, here’s hoping they have their hearts set on playing the states soon!

This is the set we played at @hellbotn_metalfest Last night. Its 30 years between the making of the oldest and newset songs. I enjoyed the show so much. I wanna thank everybody involved with the comeback of Cadaver. First of all Mr. @dirkverbeuren for kicking my ass into doing this again at all. Without you there would not be a Cadaver Mark III. A big hand to the secret weapon of Norwegian extreme metal, @myrkskogofficial – Thor and Tony – you made this a great experience for both me and Dirk. A big thanks to Ola (guitartech/stagetech) and Vegard (FOH) and the @hellbotn_metalfest crew for taking us on. Finally, the fans. You have not forgotten us and are the most important part of making us feel relevant and on fire again. This is just the beginning. #osdm #oldschooldeathmetal #norwegiandeathmetal #deathmetalband
