if you're not able to catch Killswitch Engage's performance at the House Of Blues in Houston, Texas on April 17, you're in luck! Live Nation will be streaming the entire show via the NextVR app across the globe, except for China (as usual). The show will be available to anyone with a Google Daydream or Samsung Gear VR headset, and to the best of our knowledge will be streaming for free.
It's an interesting step to take, and for numerous reasons. Obviously this is amazing in that if you can't make the show or live too far away, you'll be able to experience the whole thing on your couch. Which then also brings up the question if shows will gradually turn into live in-studio things with VR streaming only as well? The downside to that is that there's no concert experience… which is the entire point of a concert, right?
