Apparently the upcoming reunion shows for The Dillinger Escape Plan and Suicidal Tendencies appearances aren't enough for guitarist Ben Weinman. Dude had to go and start his own coffee shop on top of it all.
Weinman and his partner have announced their new coffee shop Alkemy Coffee Co in Flemington, NJ. Weinman notes that there's going to be some sort of heavy opening for the shop, but nothing has been announced just yet – here's hoping it's a killer show!
"For those of you who have not heard, my partner and I, @awakenedaromatherapy are opening a community spot in our hometown of Flemington, NJ," wrote Weinman. "Please go follow @alkemycoffeeco for more info. Our opening is gonna be heavy!!!!!
"Hopefully, we don't get shut down before we make it to week two after that one. I'm hoping this spot will be a place where I can meet many of you who have been my virtual friends for so long. Oh, and here is a little tidbit, our coffee is roasted by Golden Lantern Coffee Roasters which is co-owned by our long-time friend and tour-mate [Misha Mansoor of Periphery]! Stuff is damn good. Maybe one day we will do some MathDjentJams over there together."
