When he's taking a break from Slipknot and Stone Sour, Corey Taylor loves him some horror movies. So, he's signed on to present a re-release of the 1980s horror documentary, In Search Of Darkness.
Taylor presents the doc, whichs talks about horror's heyday in the 80s and interviews big names from the era like Doug Bradley (Hellraiser's “Pinhead”), Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm St.), Stuart Gordon (director of Re-Animator), Harry Manfredini (Friday the 13th composer), Don Mancini (Chucky), and the legendary John Carpenter.
A "Corey Taylor" edition of the doc is available for order throughout October, which has a ton more content.
“This limited run of ‘In Search of Darkness’ features all-new additional content from Corey, including new segments for each year (1980-1989) where he reveals his favorite horror moments, and comes packed with unique collectibles that you won’t find anywhere else.”
MetalSucks breaks down what's in the Corey edition that's so great:
