Scar Symmetry is down to its final two original members, those being guitarist and keyboardist Per Nilsson and drummer Henrik Ohlsson. Starting this year the band had three, but now bassist Kenneth Seil has left the band to do whatever Kenneth Seil does in his non-Scar Symmetry time! The band had the following to say via Facebook and the below YouTube video.
We are sorry to announce that Kenneth has left Scar Symmetry to pursue other interests, we miss him dearly but as they say: the show must go on! Much love and many thanks to Kenneth for all the years, all the drunken tour stories, all the good times!
We did our first show of the Epica/Eluveitie/Scar Symmetry tour tonight, and we are excited to announce that for this tour we have enrolled the amazing Andreas Silén on bass and Benjamin Ellis on guitar (of Propane Headrush and Bloodshot Dawn fame respectively), these guys shred like noone else!

Hey, Bloodshot Dawn guy! Scar Symmetry needed a second live guitarist, so this is awesome! Maybe Ellis will join the band as well? I mean, I like Bloodshot Dawn, but Ellis in Scar Symmetry would be sick.
