Rob Halford Says Ex-JUDAS PRIEST Members Could Join Band On Stage For Upcoming Anniversary Tour

"So, yeah, it's all on the table."

Judas Priest will hit the road next summer to celebrate 50 years as a band. Vocalist Rob Halford recently told Rolling Stone the band will go "deep, deep, deep into the catalogue and try to find songs that we've never played before and wrap it up into the history of Priest and the 50th anniversary," and that might not be all.

Halford recently spoke to New York radio station Z93 and was asked if the band would be joined by ex-members on the trek. Halford didn't say yes or not, but basically said that there are certainly no rules in rock!

"That's a cool question. It's like anything in rock and roll. I love the kind of chaos that surrounds rock and roll. That's, to me, what it's all about. There should be no laws, regulations or restrictions. Anything can happen with Priest. So, just keep an eye out and a lookout, especially when we play live. So, yeah, it's all on the table."

The most obvious choice for an ex-member joining on stage is K. K. Downing, who played guitar in Judas Priest from 1970 to 2011. Ex-vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens doesn't seem too confident that he'd be asked to join the band though. Owens fronted Judas Priest between 1996 and 2003, the only period of time outside original vocalist Al Atkins that Halford wasn't the vocalist.
