Revocation have finished up their as-of-yet-untitled fourth album, which I can only assume will be out some time this year.
Revocation have not disappointed me once to date, and I really doubt that the new record is going to be any different. I got the chance to talk to bassist Brett Bamberger about a month or so back, who said that the new record sounds "like a pissed off Earth Crisis," which is either imply that Earth Crisis needs to get more pissed off, or Revocation have achieved an entirely new level of anger once though unattainable. Maybe both? Who knows.
I hope they put the banjo in the super angry parts too, because why not- pissed off banjo totally works. Honestly, the only thing I really hope for this record is that it's a little more focused that Chaos of Forms was. Chaos of Forms was a great record, but it got a little too all-over-the-place for me at times. When it comes right down to it though, I doubt the band are going to put out anything less than friggin' awesome!
