Dismember, the godfathers of the Swedish death metal sound and arguably one of the best bands of all time to come out of that genre, are back. The band's 1991 lineup that recorded the landmark record Like An Everflowing Stream are reuniting for the first time since 1997 and are celebrating by headlining the Scandinavia Death Fest held in Stockholm, Sweden this October. Here's hoping the band also opts to do a new record.
Dismember originally broke up in 2011 an their final record was their self-titled in 2008. As noted above, this lineup of Dismember hasn't been together since 1997.
