The recently reunited Vio-lence, thanks to guitarist Phil Demmel leaving Machine Head, initially announced one reunion show on April 13 at the Oakland Metro in Oakland, CA. The show will see Vio-lence playing their 1988 classic record Eternal Nightmare in full, and of course as reunion shows tend to go these days, a second performance was announced for May 31 at the Regent Theater in Los Angeles.
Clearly the demand for a Vio-lence reunion is quite high, as the band has now revealed two shows for November 8 and 9 at the Brooklyn Bazaar in Brooklyn, NY. The November 8 show is opened by Ache, the November 9 show is opened by Zombie Apocalypse, and you can get tickets to both here.
It's also worth noting ex-guitarist and current Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn is the only member that performed on Eternal Nightmare that will not be playing these shows. Mainly because Vio-lence never asked him due to a combination of bad memories from the last reunion show and because he's "always really worked pretty hard to not talk about Vio-lence or include Vio-lence in the past."
